New Year

I haven't blogged on this in a long time. I guess I'm just like that. Do something for a while, and then just give up. Except, I'm still gonna try and update this once in a while for those readers out there. Nothing much has changed. Well, I'm in a new grade now and everything, but other than that, things are still pretty much the same. Nothing drastic has happened or anything. You never know, though. Changes are so gradual that you never seem to feel them. At least for me. I think it's been a year since I last updated. I saw that one of my last entries was St. Patrick's Day, and that was last Saturday. For once, I wore green on St. Patrick's. Nothing against the holiday, really. I just don't have a lot of green clothes. In fact, I'm more of a red and blue person. Although green's really starting to grow on me.... Hm, there was a lot testing today. The way my schedule works makes it so I took them all today. At least I'm all done and don't have to take any tomorrow. The math test was hard, but I think I did well enough to pass. My memory surprises me sometimes. Hope to more soon sometime! Comments?

Free of Homework

I'm gonna make a short, random post today. I already finished my homework miraculously. Nothing is going on, well, besides the fact that it's two of my friend's birthddays. Happy birthday to them. My other friend's birthday is tomorrow, and my brother's is on Saturday. Wow, tons of birthdays this week. Comments?

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Hope that all of you were wearing green. Anyway, I'm actually not too big on this holiday. I haven't posted for such a long time, but there's nothing really to write about. I got my new glasses yesterday, and I wore them today. Everyone kept thinking that I just got them, but I really have been wearing glasses ever since...first grade? I just got a new prescription, that's all. The days have been pretty boring as usual. Last weekend we had hail over here, which is a bit odd since that's not common where I am. That's all I can think of right now. Please comment!!!

Orchestra is fun!

  • Mood: Humorous

For me, orchestra is fun. I know a whole lot of you out there would disagree with me, but it's true. Maybe that's because I don't struggle in that class. Well anyway, funny things happened today, in orchestra I mean. Let's see, first there's one about Mr. K. That's all I'm gonna reveal about my music teacher's name. So anyway, Brandon had a piece of rosin in his hands, and threw it. It hit Mr. K, who had no idea who threw it at his head. In fact, he was like, looking up, and then picked it off his head or something. Then he said something like, "Huh? Piece of rosin is like falling out of the sky...." The other funny thing that happened in orchestra today was when the cello and bass section decided to try out Mrs. E.'s little story. The story was that in one orchestra she played in, the violins, and the basses/cellos, were against each other or something. So there came this one part in the music they had to play where the violins had to play something like 16th notes against the cello's and bass's quarter notes. So like I said, they were against each other. The cellos and the basses started speeding up, and so the violins had to. They went faster and faster, until the conductor became really confused as to what was happening and yelled at them. So today in my school orchestra, us cellos sped up, while the basses decided to try to slow down, and we pretty much screwed the violins up. But the violins decided to speed up too, but not more and more. They just sped up and then stopped. So Mr. K yelled, "How much are you guys going to rush before you stop?!!" The cellos, knowing that we did it on purpose (same with the basses) suddenly started laughing really loud and hysterically. It's common for Mr. K. to tell us we are rushing, but not normal for people to start laughing like we did. Everyone was staring at us cellos and basses, some of the violinists actually started laughing awkwardly too. Mr. K. was staring at us too, having no idea what had happened. Overall, you just had to be there. I think you would've laughed too if you have any sense of humor. Comments? By the way, I like one of the casual jokes one of our bass players made yesterday when we were in sectionals (cellos and basses together). He said, because Mrs. E. was saying how bass players don't play much, "With like, an 84 measure rest, we can play Go - Fish back here."

Hey guys!

I'm back! Winter Break is here, the last day of school was Friday. Today is going to be very busy, doing tons of errands with Mom and my brother. We're going to leave soon. So, what am I doing for Winter Break? I'm going to Lake Tahoe to either ski or snowboard. I don't know, is snowboarding fun? I've tried skiing already. Anyway, Jordan's going to be there. She gave me her contact info, so I honestly hope to see her there. Karen is planning to go as well. I hope she does. Then I'll have two friends there! Vacation with just my family is pretty boring nowadays. Too bad Christmas won't be spent at home, where all the special things are going on. Oh yeah, visit my website. I finally put pictures of my friends when we went to Disneyland there. I don't think I've mentioned Disneyland in this journal. Basically, my orchestra auditioned to play there, and we got in. So we got to skip school and play there, and then have fun at Disneyland for the whole day! Some of the pictures are weird, but that's because I don't like to take pictures with people posing in them. That's why some are not smiling. Hope you like, and send me comments on the pictures please. Comments?

Birthday!

Today is my birthday! I've been waiting for such a long time. Anyway, this journal entry is just a brief announcement for that. Yesterday I had a party. My friends and I went over to In-n-Out for lunch, rented a movie (Van Helsing), played some DDR and such, and filmed a part of our movie. All in all, it was fun. I got lots of presents, and I am very grateful of that. Loads of cat stuff. I mean, most people know I LOVE cats. Haha, got to stop myself before I start ranting about how much I LOVE cats. Comments?

PLEASE READ.

I changed the colors for this journal. Not that great, but oh well. Something happened with the pictures, and now they're not right anymore. Let's see, what news do I bring? My friend, Hannah, was absent today and maybe yesterday. Her brother died. I feel really bad for her. She's going through a really hard time. I hope she feels better. I've never had anyone close to me die, but if you have, then I'm sorry for you. Comments? Any advice for Hannah would help.

Dance! Dance! Dance!

Yesterday I attended a school Halloween dance. It was really fun. A guy friend of mine asked me to slow dance with him, and another one which Tory met, asked for my phone number and hers. I thought that was lame. He gave me his, but I'm not going to use it. The popular wannabes (or are they really popular) were doing what popular people do. "Hang out" with the "people below them" and laugh about it later. Alex, the nice guy who asked for my phone number, was sort of humiliated by them, I mean they were the only ones who laughed about it. Of course, the popular wannabes are pretty, and they know that. Alex isn't all that "hot" though. So they dance around him, one not so pretty guy, surrounded by two pretty girls. They were laughing about that so hard, and they did that on purpose. Their other popular wannabe friends came by. In the second group, one girl took one step into the group of friends I was dancing with, and rolled her eyes, then turned around and left. I never thought people could be that shallow. Besides the horrible image of them trying to dance sexy like in a night club or something, I had a great time. Today, I had dance rehearsal. I was so tired, and my feet hurt like hell, but I'll get over it. Tonight I have to go to a Halloween party. More interesting stuff is coming soon! Comments? Please leave one.
